I'm cycling around Australia to raise money and people's awareness of Huntington's Disease. As you may know, HD's faulty gene is hereditary and sadly, someone very close to me has just been positively tested for the gene. Hopefully one day in the future, people in general - not exclusive to those affected by HD will be aware of the existence of Huntington's Disease. Therefore, able to be supportive in all aspects (mentally, physically and emotionally), of those who are affected by HD both directly (the sufferers) and indirectly (the family and friends) in going through this.
